How will a podcast benefit your business?

Sarah starts the show by revealing the details behind her entrepreneurial journey. After losing interest in her photography business, Sarah wanted to find out how to make money online. She found tools and resources to operate an online business. Sarah decided to start a podcast about how to find the most frugal resources for your online work. Now, Sarah is working on creating a podcasting business; podcasting is her favorite!

Podcasting is great because you can have an interesting conversation with someone. The more helpful information you can get out to people, the more your listeners will reap the rewards. Eventually, you’ll build an audience. At this point, podcasting is the new blogging; every business needs a podcast. It’s a lot easier to learn about someone through a podcast. Plus, during a podcast, you will build connections with your guests; you never know down the road how you can help each other out; that’s the power of networking!

If you want to start a podcast, you only need $100. It’s the best way to get your business name out in the world. Affiliate marketing is a way you can make money from your podcast. However, you have to do affiliate marketing the right way; you will need to find the most effective method to push it. Have a resource page on your website so that people can click through your links, and you’ll earn money in return. Podcasts aren’t going anywhere, and it’s becoming more mainstream; it’s time that you start a podcast and figure out how to make money from it.

Many of us have a full-time job and are working on a side hustle. However, how do you know when to make your side hustle a full-time gig? Sarah says that your side hustle income should match your full-time income for a few years, or the income should be so much higher that there will be a cushion. It’s challenging to know when to jump off the cliff. You either have to trust the process or trust yourself. After a good year, you can become complacent and not push as hard. However, even after a good year, you need to push harder the next year. Suppose you let your foot off the gas. In that case, you could be looking for a full-time job again. Tune in as we talk about the most challenging parts of entrepreneurship, and Sarah gives advice for entrepreneurs.

Enjoy the show!
